Photos / SoundsWhatCommon Gull (Larus canus)ObserverkaupunkilinnutDescriptionPossibly stained by mobbing fieldfares. Constantly did some fieldfare like moving in short sequences, like imitating. |

Photos / SoundsWhatHouse Sparrow (Passer domesticus)ObserverkaupunkilinnutDescriptionStayed here observing for longer than usually as I was afraid the active nestling will prematurely fall. Wondering what's wrong with parents left eye - could eager juvenile feeding have caused it? There was nothing similar noticed three days earlier. Also, maybe female tries to stay as far as possible to avoid hurt (or just leaves the room for juvenile)? |

Photos / SoundsWhatBlackbird (Turdus merula)ObserverkaupunkilinnutDescriptionWing seems firm but not yet in full flight condition. Did climb to shrub, singing, alarming crow, and eventually flew 20 m starting from 1.5 m high. 1/2 EDIT: Suspected nesting terminated already. There was no visits to nest or gathering food. EDIT2: There's notable white/bald spot above left eye that wasn't there yesterday, possibly related to events around nesting? |

Photos / SoundsWhatBlackbird (Turdus merula)ObserverkaupunkilinnutDescriptionWing injured male (left) was flying again, not perfectly, flying was still little "ineffective", but did full flight to other park across the street and later back, and generally moved normally flying shorter flights too. Unfortunately its' nesting terminated recent days, suspected crow provocating disturbance caused by park maintenance. EDIT: There's notable white/bald spot above left eye, first time noticed two days ago, possibly related to events around nesting? |
