🍄The Fungi Hunt Competition with Fungi Fest NZ on the iNaturalist.org app was a great success!
We had so many awesome entries, with 67 people joining in the fun and over 700 mushrooms/lichen uploaded to the App!

'Paulglenton' on iNaturalist - Best photo with multiple angles. There were some great images uploaded, but we decided to only consider photos for this prize that contained 2 or more photos showing the cap, gills etc to help with ID as well.
🔬You guys are seriously amazing citizen scientists, and it's been a great fungi season so far in the North Island! Keep up the fungling and we will see you out in the ngahere sometime! 🔎

A little gutted that i found it so late and couldnt make more observations in the month of April. Regardless will continue contributing to iNaturalist into the future :)
