Description

There are other records of this species from here but these photos show the flower-heads at a later stage when it looks narrow and often drooping or curved. This species is higher up the slopes of Mt Arthur than A. glaucescens which is the other large spaniard here.

Description

I am using this name in a broad sense. The number of teeth on the edge of the leaf and the lack of obvious bracts on the peduncle are both characters of this species. Looking through the photos of this species I would agree that this genus needs revising.
