Description

Resident pateke at Matuku Link. The male was alone, suspect the female is nesting in nearby bush.

Description

New pateke pair found at Matuku Link. One bird had leg bands; banded pateke with antenna were translocated to wetlands further downstream in 2015 & 2016. The antenna patch is still visible on the bird with leg bands.
