Description
7100' elevation. Caterpillar that was feeding on the flowers of Sulphur Buckwheat (Eriogonum umbellatum) was reared to Butterfly. Caterpillars were in perfect sync to the blooming and waning of the flowers.

Description
~7100' elevation. Butterfly reared from caterpillar feeding on the flowers of Sulphur Buckwheat (Eriogonum umbellatum). Caterpillars were in perfect sync with the bloom and waning of the flowers.

Description
HEY we identified this as a tiger moth previously(and I have posted its caterpillar form as well) but I’m not sure that’s right when I check up on tiger moths! Let me know your thoughts.
