This spider was found in a house, in a pet's water dish, and posted to the "All Bugs Go to Kevin" Facebook group for identification. Since the spider was found in water it was not desiccated, so the collector kindly sent it to me to examine.
According to Murphy (2007) this is one of the most widespread of all spider species in the world(!)
Unfortunately I lost the genitalia while I was clearing it so I don't have a dorsal photo. Rookie mistake :(
