I watched this individual stridulate, it was holding its wings straight up at a 90 degree angle to its body moving spines on legs across wings edge

Appears to have somehow wintered over in our house plants. ID based on sound. INDOOR observation, but certainly not captive.

It was a nice and warm evening so I put the blacklight back up to see what was around.
