Description
Three specimens found near a woodchip pile/grassy area of Milo McIver SP.
The smell is noteworthy- sweet, warm, spicy, quite strongly floral (not mushroomy).
The cap on the largest specimen is 1.25 inches across.
Spore print shown. Final photo shows cap without fibrils after bringing it home/aging a bit.

Description
Growing at the base of Pinus contorta.
KOH cherry red on stipe & cap, purple on gills. Viscid all over. Dark grey-purple droplets on gills.
Suillus spp, Gliophorus psitticinus & Cuphophyllus russocoriola closely nearby.

Description
-Pileus is campanulate to convex, strong presence of marginal appendiculae present and subtle scales or warts on cap, indicating presence of universal and partial veils. Pileus is hygrophanous, has a slightly darker cream color towards margin. Somewhat pleated or subtly sulcate along margin.
- Lamellae are finely adnate, some gills being free. Narrow shape, close, creamy in color.
- Stipes are predominantly equal, slightly enlarging towards base. Grown in dense, caespitose clusters.
- Found growing on the side of a trail, in grass and mixed conifer and predominant hardwood leaf litter
- No noticeable scent beyond typical, mushroom scent

On Tanoak, not conifer. Don't know what else it could be. There is a Ganoderma brownii on the other side of the stump.

The second shot is from October 28th covered with brown spores. Looked like G. brownii then. After the rains, the cap was cleaned.
