Tingena ombrodella (Hudson, 1950). F.L. 8-9 mm. Endemic.

The adult insect is found in native forest and scrub from October through till March.

Life history ⁵

Unknown however, Hudson 1928 states "apparently it has a distinct preference for the silver tree fern (Cyathea dealbata).
