Eudonia zophochlaena (Meyrick, 1923). Endemic. Local.

Habitat, seasonality and behaviour 6

Native forest. Adults are mainly found from December to February. They fly at night and are attracted to artificial light.

Life history 6

Larvae make leaf mines in fern, Pyrrosia elagnifolia, (Bory) Hovenkamp, Polypodiaceae (Polypodium fern family), and forms silk tunnels between fronds, pupae formed between silk joined fronds, and amongst frass.
