Carposina gonosemana (Meyrick, 1882). 6.5-9.5 mm. Endemic.

Habitat, seasonality and behaviour 6

Adults are on the wing from September to April and prefer native forest. They fly at night and come to light.

Life history 6

The larvae have been recorded feeding on seeds and fruit of Griselinia lucida. It is possible the larvae also feed on the fruit of Griselinia littoralis.
