An insect of coastal salt marshes and estuaries where its larval foodplant can be found. According to Hans Donner and Christopher Wilkinson (1989) "Adults recorded January, February, September and October".

Life history 4

Foodplant: Plagianthus divaricatus (Coastal ribbonwood), a shrub up to 2 m tall. Larvae recorded April, May and September, about 3 mm long, pale yellow. Cocoons: made of brown silk on ground.
