Pterophorus furcatalis (Walker, 1864). Endemic. Locally common.

It is a widespread and common species which is on the wing from November to March in native forest. They can be collected during the day but also fly at night and come to light.

Life history 4

Larvae feed on the leaves of Pittosporum eugenioides A.Cunn., Pittosporaceae (Pittosporum family).
