Asterivora colpota

Asterivora colpota (Meyrick, 1911). Endemic.

Similar in appearance to Asterivora combinatana but it can be distinguished from it via the discal mark as well as the second line on the forewings (Hudson, 1928).

Habitat, seasonality and behaviour 7

Adults are on the wing from September to May.

Life history 7

Larvae have been reared from Senecio cineraria/minimus (Scotch thistle).
