Sypharochiton torri

Description 2

Size 9 to 10mm long, 4.5 to 6mm wide. Dark coloured appearing smooth but covered in wrinkled patterns.

Similar to the snakeskin chiton Sypharochiton pelliserpentis, but half the size.

Distribution 2

Restricted to very south of the South Island, Bluff, and Stewart Island.
