Leptochiton otagoensis

Description 1

Small chiton, 7mm long, 3.5mm wide. They look very similar to L. finlayi but without the short spines and the plates are pink but darker in the middle.

Distribution 1

Found under boulders and stones in the intertidal zone at the high tide level. Otago.
