Distinguishing Characteristics
An endemic limpet of New Zealand and is quite variable in shell shape and colour pattern.

Size
Can grow up to Length 7mm, Width 5mm

Distribution
Found in the low tide zone attached to smooth rocks and other shells in sheltered positions (Eg. tide pools) on open coasts throughout New Zealand.
