Apoctena conditana (Walker, 1863). Endemic. Common.

Adults are on the wing from September to March in native forest. They fly at night and come to light.

Life history 9

Larvae web leaves together; feed on leaves of herbs, shrubs and trees. Foodplant families include: Daisy; Tawa; Griselinia; Clubmoss; Pine; Polypodium and Supple jack.
