Thelymitra cyanea, commonly known as the swamp sun orchid, is a species of orchid which is native to New Zealand and south-east Australia in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, and Tasmania. It is usually found growing in swamps, sphagnum bogs, and subalpine herbfields. It usually has blue and white flowers with dark stripes along its veins.

Habitat 6

Lowland to sub-alpine. Mainly montane in the North Island. Swamps and bogs, damp hollows within scrub.
