This little fella feel in front of us and then went searching for food only to come in front of a cuttlefish. The cuttlefish lined him up and within seconds, this seahorse was gone. Never knew a cuttlefish would eat a seahorse.
Roughly 6-8cm in length. Approached me and changed colour and texture a few times, raised it's two middle tentacles before retreating back to it's hiding spot.
Photo and observation: Paul Hellier (https://www.instagram.com/p/CJ9ncAzlaw1/ for original) posted here with permission. Looks like a juvenile diamond trevally Alectis indica (it appears to have elongate filaments on pelvic fins which would distinguish it from the pennant fish A. cillaris). Size: roughly 25 mm.
Looks closer than H. barbiganti?

Tiny, approx 4cm long and very thin. There was a larger one of the same species with it, but it was hiding on the c=ground. Prehensile tail holding onto sticks.
