Fungus growing on an old pine tree stump, incorporating some of the grass in its structure.
Relatively small, maybe an inch, inch and a half tall. And fairly young, perhaps only 2-3 days at most (which was when I last looked at the stump).

Fungus (?) growing on a large (but hollow) oak tree, just north of the PA-WV border (like 25-50 ft north). Spotted while walking on the red path at Mason Dixon Park, just past the (historical) survey marker.
The tree in question was host to a number of organisms, including bacterial crown galls.
