About 100m NW of the summit of Dyadic in a 4th class chimney. There were at least 3 individuals closely scattered.
Highly stunted? Saw mature individuals that looked very similar to Erythranthe cardinalis (bilaterally symmetrical red flowers) growing out of safe reach on slope beneath Corona Arch.
Surrounded by Cardinal Flower and Great Blue Lobelia... there was one other plant in the area like this one that appeared to be a hybrid.
FLOWER NO2
We were lucky. At a distance of approx. 300 meters we found another blooming Titanum.
From the interviews with villagers know about the next two flowers blooming in a radius of 2-3 km.
A beautiful, hardy plant with semi- succulent leaves.
Apparently a hybrid, intermediate between P. grinnellii & P. centranthifolius
