Sandsharks

Marine or Litttoral? This Sandshark (just less than 1 m long) was caught and placed in a shallow tidal pool by a fisherman. All along the beaches around Agulhas and Arniston there are dead sandsharks, pajama sharks and rays that have been caught and left on the beach to die and rot. There should be some sort of agreement that with a fishing licence comes an obligation to throw back what is not going to be eaten or used.
