Description

On native wood. I don't normally record these since they are so common. However given very little else fruiting, they suddenly seemed rather interesting.

Have had a rather damp summer, and last week has had multiple days or heavy rain. So rather surprised that nothing much is out fruiting.

This was the only orange pore fungi fruiting at this time.

Quite a lot of these to be seen on fallen branches and twigs in NZ native forest area with a mix of trees. All very small (no more than 5mm diameter for the largest).
