Not one I see often, at least in bloom
Third photo shows merged fruits. I've never seen this before.

In moderate current in the Stillwater River. The leaf is keeled nearly the full length, so this might be S. acaule (AKA Sparganium emersum Rehmann var. acaule (Beeby ex Macoun) A.Haines). These plants don't seem to fruit, so that makes it hard to tell. I'll watch them more this year to see if I can get something in fruit. Opinions welcome.

Where are the bees? This yard pest is usually humming with insects and pollinators. Not so far this year. Very odd.
