Abundant shrub in subalpine shrubland. No specimens seen flowering or fruiting. Forming shrubs up to 2 x 2 m.

Growing on edge of footpath. Moss at centre of picture.

So exciting to finally see this cool, somewhat cryptic little scree plant!

Rare under matagouri scrub. In slight depressions, probably seasonally wet.

Sward forming. Growing under open coastal shrubland.

River meander. Corticolous, foliose. Trunk of a fallen tree in the open.

In berm

Maintained lawn with other common lawn grasses and herbs

Leaning over fence from someone's back yard. Open flat garden.

Wetland dominated by raupo, near coastline. Along side of boardwalk.

Struggled to get a good photo of these. In sunny open patch of roadside.
