Found dead. It seems that the insides of this moth were eaten by slugs. An Arion slug was still present on the moth.
Sandpiper and green heron sharing a patch of land
I observed this bird for over half an hour, as he waded through the water along the edge of the pond. He was eating lots of insects and worms, in preparation for his long journey north.
