Found growing in a pond margin nearby to the Orēti River. Total length ~1100mm, culm ~670mm. Leaves ~6mm wide, double folded, minutely scabrid on margins and keel. Utricles appear plano-convex, white nerves, ~3mmx~1.5mm. Beaks bifid, glabrous orifice, crura. Awns scabrid.
Not 100% sure about ID...
Saw where it said Tree Cave on Google Earth so checked it out. Prostrate macrocarpa in the dunes with kid caves under the low branches
