These tiny bugs were found on the leaves of Sonneratia alba mangrove trees. In some cases mating with the bugs stuck together "back to back" was observed.
Found on Lophostemon confertus.
Many individuals present.
One of the only invertebrates flying in the misty and warm (for December) weather. We noticed it when it landed on one of us. Near a river and young forest.
The head and body shape are wrong, but the wings are so lace- and dome-like that I thought Lacewings might be on the right track.
Tentative - @hopperdude215 - does this look right to you? Thanks!
@psyllidhipster - could this be Trioza bakeri?

Orange-red insect with black stripes on the pronotum. Mouthpart type unclear
Sorry for poor photo, but this is what I got before it got away. Was on the plant on the bottom right of the 2nd photo, but not quite sure 1) if it is Passiflora pallida and 2) whether it got scared by me to that plant from one of the other plants nearby, which include Jacquemontia pentanthos.
