Rare in migration here. Two individuals were seen together, both first-winter plumage, so I am not sure whether these two photos represent one, or two, individuals.

Most like a Myrtle, but note the yellow on the throat (2nd photo) and the presence of an anomalous thick short white brow instead of a linear white eye line. Sacramento Bar.

Silhouetted, yet photo well shows the big, blocky head, tiny bill, and long primary projection needed to clinch the ID for this Empidonax flycatcher.

~80% of the individuals in tis flock were Tricolored Blackbirds and most of the rest were Eurasian Starlings. One Red-winged Blackbird shows at the lower left corner.

The yellow on the black back is pollen.
