According to FAO guide Eastern Atlantic: Chin with barbel -> excludes Sciaena and Argyrosomus / 27 (or 28 - not sure the last one is bifide or not) soft rays in the second part of D -> excludes U. cirrosa (22-25 rays) / second anal spine longer than two-thirds of first anal ray -> excludes U. ronchus = U. canariensis
