Genus Tagetes (Marigolds)

Tagetes is a genus of annual or perennial, mostly herbaceous plants in the sunflower family Asteraceae. They are among several groups of plants known in English as marigolds. Merigold are native to the Americas naturally growing from the Southwestern United States into South America. The Tagetes in species fairy incise phone 0.1 to 2.2 m tall. The blooms of a tagetes Are in golden, yellow, orange, white colors and often with some maroon highlights.
