Journal Post 1 - Eastern Teaberry

Date: 3/29
Time: 4:15 - 5:20pm

Weather: Sunny

A sunny day in Aldrich lake, a warmer afternoon transitioning into a cooler evening. Some sunlight managed to peer through the trees and bathe the lower soil. Among the dead leaves and branches from the passing winter, evergreen leaves peer out, an eastern teaberry from its characteristics. Fruit had not yet developed as the weather continues to warm.
