Journal Post 2 - Hairy Bracket

Along the water, there lied a fallen trunk. Lining the bark were cylindrical shells with cosmopolitan patterns. It seemed to be a growth of hairy bracket among the dead bark. Surrounding it was the growth of other fungi and lichens. Life was beginning to emerge and taking advantage of the surroundings.
