Rosy Maples outcompete bug bites

Belated post from 5/30/22 - as long as I am seeing more than Rosy Maple Moths than bug bites received, it's a good night! First Promethea Silkmoth in my yard this season and a beautiful Two-toned Ancylis Moth as well. Moth species diversity reached 45 tonight in about two hours of mothing.

Moths, moths, and more moths

Since last fall, I have taken a keen interest in moths. Last night was one of my favorite yet, with my first luna moth in the yard and 26 rosy maple moths! Still working on uploading my photos, which definitely include some new species for me!
