Thank you everyone CNC 2022 is a wrap!

Just received the final rollup from the CNC organizers:
Here are the collective results:
Observations: 1,694,877
Species: 50,176+, including more 2,244 than rare/endangered/threatened species
Observers: 67,220
Most-observed species globally: Common Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) - last year it was the Mallard duck ;).

"This marks two years in a row we've made more than one million observations in four days. That’s a reflection of all the time and hard work all of you have put into making the CNC happen in your community."
