BIOSTATUS
Present in the wild. Presumably exotic (due to being relatively conspicuous, but unknown until very recently, and found so far only in very modified habitats).
Earliest N.Z. record: NEW ZEALAND AK, Auckland 1072, suburb of Glen Innes/Point England/Saint Johns, 231 Apirana Ave, Lophostemon confertus (inactive on leaf bud), 15 Nov 2014, S.E. Thorpe.
DISTRIBUTION
North Island (AK).
HABITAT
Terrestrial.
