The defining feature of the organism is its fluffy tail is as large as its body. It also perches itself up on its hind legs. Its genus is in the Sciurus, or tree squirrels. The squirrel has a lighter, white colored belly. This is a distinctive feature to the Eastern Grey Squirrel. This particular squirrel was observed on campus and took a great liking to the tree. The habitat they live in is forested areas. They like the trees because it keeps them mobile and gives them protection.
