Description

I think there were alot of these today. Most of my other Amanita mushrooms today were in the same kind of habitat. Recently worked bike trail. No volva. Stem was rough and maybe powdery below the annulus. Yellowish and more smooth above. Base was swollen and adorned with spikes. Many of the most mature specimens had upturned caps. Buttons present and pictured. Mixed woods
