Was digging in the garden a few years ago and found several of these absolutely massive earthworms. Didnt know that earth worms grew this big. I did a bit of research at the time and learned about Giant earthworms, however I couldnt find any mention of these having been found in the South Island before? Anyone know anything more about what I actually found that day?

Found this little guy in our bathtub. Is this a Weta? Managed to get him out safely and popped him outside.
