Columnella deciduous; peristome well-developped; exothecial cells short/isodiametric; distal costa papillose; laminal cells smooth?; stereids absent; costa ~subpercurrent, leaf apex muticous; leaf margins denticulate distally; but capsule barely 1.3x longer than wide.

Keys out roughly to sphagnifolia based on collected specimen, but this group is notoriously difficult and the specimen isn't great quality. Will post scope photos next time I have a look at it.
Leaves concave to flat; some leaf distal margins upright to incurved; leaves ~1.5mm wide, limp; branch tips appear long-attenuate.
