deboasDescription
Collided with the high horizontal window above the stairs and fell into the winter garden. First time I have seen a collision on this window. Stunned for a few minutes, but apparently recovered as it was not there twenty minutes later.

deboasDescription
Juvenile, perhaps in dispersal phase. I heard it collide with the window at 10:05 and went to find it already dead on the ground nearby. This is the downstairs bedroom window that doesn’t have anti-collision protection yet, but will have it soon. Day overcast, collision occurred a few minutes after the start of some light rain, which later intensified. Window reflects Cecropia trees some 15 metres away, and Ficus lyrata closer.
Update: on 21 April I installed white stickers at 10 cm intervals all over the four panes of glass on this window (from: https://www.alojadospassarinhos.com.br/bolinhas-adesivas-anticolisao-kit-10m2). I will continue to monitor collisions, although hopefully there will be no more.
