Description

Another duck observation in Lyndhurst Park.

This duck was the only one here of this unusual brown colouring and is probably a cross of a Mallard (the predominant duck in the park) and something else.

There were about 100 ducks in the park - mostly mallards and a few black muscovys.

Description

A green/blue to dark green fungus? growing on compost bin boards. It could also be some type of mould.

These boards had been on the inside of the bin. The board is approx 90mm wide.

The timber is Pinus Radiata.
