Description

I guess this is some sort of aquatic insect larvae.
Around 20mm long.
It seemed to be filter feeding out of the water.
There were a group of smaller "worms" coming out of the mud in the area as well as 3 larger ones.

This Damselfly was newly emerged.
I saw it fly from the base of reeds by the waters edge.
The wings don't appear to be fully inflated.
Around 20 mm long.
I think I have the id correct.
But GBIF has no observations anywhere near ChCh
