Description

Creeping grass growing in forest remnant dominated by totara and kanuka. Very open forest with little to no understory as has been grazed until recently. Forest remnant surrounded by pasture.

Description

We found manuka with these strange looking growths on them. The growth is much more finely branched than the rest of the plant, and occurs towards the ends of branches. The growths are numerous, on multiple plants in the vicinity. What could be causing this?
