I discovered this beetle after overturning a rock that was against the foundation of a commercial structure. It was burrowed beneath the soil. Triceratops beetles very rarely enter structures and are not considered to be urban pests.

This German cockroach was observed among others, inside of a commercial kitchen. This particular cockroach appears to have been affected by a chitin inhibiting IGR, judging by the deformed wings. This black jumping spider was observed hanging from a single web while desending from my kitchen ceiling. I observed the spider moving about on my ceiling for most of the day, I believe that it did not have much luck finding prey up there and was attempting to move to the floor. Jumping spiders are harmless and are only considered to be pests by those that are frightened by spiders.

This dynastid beetle was found underneath a rodent bait station that was located against the structure foundation of a large facility. It's typical for dynastid beetles to hide under debris and other objects when the sun is out, by moving the bait station I likely interrupted this behavior. Dynastid beetles pose no threat to humans and are not considered to be an urban pest.
