Tom Norton (tsn) first posted this sighting with photos taken two weeks later. One blooming stem with multiple vegetative rosettes found at the edge of a sand plain meadow with abutting forest. Norton's photo showed nearly all the florets never opened this late in the season and William Van Hemessen commented very few naturalized populations have been noted to date.
