Description

One young bird flew overhead and landed on a broken tree. Happy to watch me run a roadline grade across cutover until I was 5m away. Flew off and landed beside parent bird and tried to snatch a feed off parent. Great to see them so relaxed.

Walked on to skid site 126 and saw Kaka fly over head aprrox 15m away. About 1/2 hour later saw Kaka on forest floor about 8m away, flew off.
