"I spotted a Blue Moon/Eggfly butterfly at Kohaihai Carpark, West Coast. Healthy, flying strongly, saw one at a time but felt there may have been more than one. It was moving too quickly to get a photo but at one stage it landed among the trampers assembled there. Date spotted 11.03.18 at 1.00pm."

"I saw a butterfly today that I've never seen before fluttering through our garden.
Large, size & shape rather like a monarch but black in colour splattered with large
white spots. I didn't get a photo. I live in Motueka."
