A different kind of moth seen here with big body and two big white color wings.A green color body is much bigger than the wings.No antennas are seen.The date here is not correct as the date function was out of order.

It was in my backyard where I found the big pupa of this moth,which I preserved for a day and found the moth taking birth.A big surprise as the birth usually takes place at remote places which can not be seen.The moth after coming out waited to dry himself as seen here.The empty shell is also seen in the image.

Butterflies have a four stage life cycle as the egg,the larva,the pupa and full gown butterfly.The image shows the birth of Common Mormon butterfly when it comes out from its pupa.The image shows the butterfly half out from the pupa,the outer shell of the pupa opened and the out coming butterfly with its antennas,the proboscis,the eyes etc.The drama of the moment exactly caught.To get such shots I had to keep awake for the whole night as the moments were uncertain.But the efforts have ended up with these nice shots.

Butterflies,the beautiful creation of nature usually attract anybody's attention.The image shows an attractive yellow butterfly laying an egg.The action is nicely captured which shows the very tiny egg clearly.The Chikkori plant is of choice of this butterfly which lays many tiny white eggs on this plant.The butterfly is very active and moves very often making a perfect shot difficult.But many trials made this dramatic shot possible.

Grey Mongoose,family Herpestidae,found in the western ghats of India.Seen in the image a very touchy moment when a baby mongoose holding its mother as if saying I LOVE YOU.The mother is standing on her hind legs to see around for any danger.They are found in groups of 5 to 6 with members of all ages.Usually give birth to tree babies.

The squirrels,rodents,belong to the family Sciuridae, are usually seen on big trees having fruits.The image shows such a squirrel eating a fruit.Very afraid of any movement around.Tiny but with a furry tail attracting viewers.Have a loud sharp sound.

A glorious looking tree with no leaves,full of big red flowers,called as KATESAVAR locally.the flowering is in the summer attracting birds for nectar.Looks eye catching on the back ground of deep blue sky.Has sharp thorns on the stem for protection.A tall tree seen from a distance.
